Mon Centre Auditif vous donne toutes les informations nécessaires sur les bouchons de cérumen.</p>\r\n \r\n <h2 class="h3 mb-3">Qu’est-ce que le cérumen ?</h2>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align:justify;">Avant de comprendre comme se forme un bouchon et pourquoi il se forme dans votre oreille, il faut comprendre l’importance du cérumen. Le cérumen, que l’on appelle souvent <strong>cire d’oreille</strong> est une matière un peu pâteuse, pas trop liquide, mais pas solide non plus, de couleur dorée ou jaune. Elle se forme dans le conduit auditif.</p>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align:justify;">Sécrété par des glandes, le cérumen est très utile. Il permet de stopper les corps étrangers qui souhaiteraient rentrer plus profondément dans l’oreille. Le <strong>cérumen</strong> hydrate aussi la peau du conduit. La cire d’oreille détient certaines propriétés qui empêchent la prolifération des microbes. Bien qu’on la compare souvent à de la saleté, c’est donc un élément très important de nos oreilles.</p>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align:justify;">La production de cérumen se régule naturellement. Celui-ci est éliminé vers l’extérieur avec les peaux mortes et autres poussières. Lorsque l’on <strong>nettoie nos oreilles</strong> de manière hebdomadaire<sup>2</sup>, on enlève le potentiel surplus sans trop en enlever non plus. C’est un équilibre à adopter.</p>\r\n \r\n <h2 class="h3 mb-3">Comment se forment les bouchons de cérumen ?</h2>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align:justify;">Les bouchons d’oreilles se forment lorsque la production de cérumen n’est pas bien maîtrisée ou se dérègle. Certaines personnes sont particulièrement exposées à la formation de bouchons, ceux qui connaissent une importante production de cérumen.</p>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align:justify;">Un bouchon de cérumen peut se former pour diverses raisons :</p>\r\n \r\n <ul style="color:#77838f;">\r\n \t<li>Un mauvais <strong>nettoyage des oreilles</strong> peut engendrer la formation de bouchons. Un nettoyage trop agressif avec des cotons-tiges est souvent une des origines premières.</li>\r\n \t<li>Le port de <strong>protections auditives</strong> telles que des boules Quies peuvent aussi être un facteur déterminant. Le port en continu de protections auditives peut entraîner une production importante de cérumen.</li>\r\n \t<li>Des <strong>prothèses auditives</strong> de type intra-auriculaire peuvent accélérer la formation de bouchons de cérumen.</li>\r\n \t<li>Certaines personnes possèdent un conduit trop étroit pour que le cérumen puisse s’éliminer vers l’extérieur naturellement. Il s’accumule alors à l’intérieur et peut former un bouchon.</li>\r\n </ul>\r\n \r\n <h2 class="h3 mb-3">Comment savoir si j’ai un bouchon de cérumen ?</h2>\r\n \r\n <p>Quels sont les symptômes lorsque l’on a un bouchon de cérumen ? Une baisse sensible de l’audition et l’impression désagréable d’avoir une <strong>oreille bouchée</strong> sont les deux principaux symptômes qui doivent alerter.</p>\r\n \r\n <p>La sensation d’oreille bouchée est accentuée si la personne se baigne. Ce n’est, au final, pas seulement une impression puisque l’oreille est réellement bouchée. Le son ne circule plus comme il devrait, il ne parvient plus au tympan aussi bien. L’audition est alors atteinte.</p>\r\n \r\n <p>Le bouchon de cérumen peut provoquer des <strong>bourdonnements</strong>. C’est la pression de l’air dans le conduit qui provoque cette gêne.</p>\r\n \r\n <h2 class="h3 mb-3">Comment traiter un bouchon de cérumen ?</h2>\r\n \r\n <p>Deux cas de figure sont possibles<sup>3</sup>. Soit vous êtes habitués aux bouchons de cérumen, vous en avez déjà eu et vous avez déjà consulté un médecin. Vous reconnaissez les symptômes. Vous pouvez essayer de l’enlever par vous-même. Vous pouvez le dissoudre ou le ramollir afin qu’il s’élimine à l’aide d’un produit en vente à la pharmacie. Le pharmacien sera d’une aide précieuse pour vous conseiller. Le sérum physiologique est aussi utile. Dans tous les cas, ne rentrez aucun objet dans votre oreille pour retirer le bouchon.</p>\r\n \r\n <p>Si c’est une première ou si malgré vos tentatives, le bouchon est toujours présent, une visite chez votre médecin traitant est nécessaire. Ce dernier pourra alors extraire le bouchon avec des instruments adaptés sans vous faire mal.</p>\r\n \r\n <p>Nous rappelons que les bouchons d’oreille ne sont pas graves et n’occasionnent pas de dommages à long terme sur l’audition.</p>\r\n \r\n <h2 class="h3 mb-3">Comment prévenir et éviter le bouchon de cérumen ?</h2>\r\n \r\n <p>Quels sont les gestes à adopter afin d’éviter la formation de <strong>bouchons d’oreilles</strong> ? Il faut déjà savoir que la production de cérumen varie d’une personne à une autre.
