Quelle est la prise en charge ?</p>\r\n \r\n <h2 style="text-align: justify;">Tumeurs malignes et tumeurs bénignes, faisons le point</h2>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />\r\n Le <strong>cancer de l’oreille et du rocher</strong> est une forme de cancer extrêmement rare. Lorsque qu’un cancer est détecté, que la tumeur est maligne, elle peut avoir diverses formes et origines. Cela peut être un carcinome, un mélanome ou encore un céruminome. </p>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align: justify;">Si la petit masse, l’excédent de peau n’est pas malin mais bénin, qu’il n’est pas porteur du cancer, alors la tumeur est dite bénigne. Différentes tumeurs bénignes de l’oreille ou kystes existent. </p>\r\n \r\n <h2 style="text-align: justify;">Quels sont les signes qui doivent alerter ?</h2>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />\r\n Une <strong>tumeur non cancéreuse de l’oreille</strong> qui se développe dans le conduit auditif peut engendrer une baisse d’audition plus ou moins notable. Le patient peut donc constater une perte de sa capacité auditive. Il peut aussi constater une production de cérumen plus importante que la normale. </p>\r\n \r\n <h2 style="text-align: justify;">Les principales tumeurs non cancéreuses de l’oreille</h2>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />\r\n Il existe différentes types de tumeurs bénignes de l’oreille :</p>\r\n \r\n <ul>\r\n \t<li style="text-align: justify;">les <strong>kystes sébacés</strong> ou d’inclusion épidermique. Il s’agit d’une petite masse de sécrétions cutanées, un surplus de peau autrement dit ;</li>\r\n \t<li style="text-align: justify;">les <strong>excroissances osseuses</strong> appelées plus précisément, les ostéomes et les exostoses ;</li>\r\n \t<li style="text-align: justify;">les excroissances dues à une cicatrice, typiquement après une lésion ou un perçage du lobe de l’oreille, appelées plus précisément <strong>chéloïdes</strong>.<br />\r\n \t </li>\r\n </ul>\r\n \r\n <h3 style="text-align: justify;">Zoom sur les exostoses auditives externes (EAE) ou oreille du surfeur</h3>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />\r\n Aussi connu sous le nom du syndrome du surfeur ou <strong>oreille du surfeur</strong>, les exostoses osseuses ou auditives externes EAE, se développent souvent chez un public précis : les nageurs, plongeurs et surfeurs. Autrement dit, les personnes qui sont souvent dans l’eau froide.<br />\r\n L’excroissance osseuse, assez petite, qui se situe dans le conduit auditif n’a pas de traitement. Il s’agit d’une petite bosse de l’os. Lorsque cette excroissance est plus grosse, l’exostose entraine une obstruction et peut engendrer différents problèmes : de l’eau peut stagner derrière entrainant un risque d’infection, l’audition peut aussi vraiment être diminuée.</p>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align: justify;">La chirurgie est alors la meilleure solution. Le patient retrouve après l’ablation de l’excroissance osseuse une audition normale.</p>\r\n \r\n <h3 style="text-align: justify;">Zoom sur le cholestéatome, tumeur bénigne de l’oreille moyenne</h3>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />\r\n Le cholestéatome est un kyste sébacé, c’est une petite masse de cellules de peau qui va trouver une place derrière le tympan. Appelé aussi <strong>otite cholestéatomateuse</strong>, le cholestéatome est dû à une infection qui a été mal soignée.</p>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align: justify;">La patient peut ressentir une <strong>douleur à l’oreille</strong>, des vertiges, une baisse de l’audition mais aussi des écoulements. Les symptômes sont variables et parfois indolores.</p>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align: justify;">Son bon traitement et une prise en charge rapide sont essentiels car le cholestéatome peut s’étendre et ainsi causer de vrais problèmes de santé : vertiges, surdité, infections graves, etc.</p>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align: justify;">L’otoscopie (diagnostic mené par l’ORL) ainsi qu’un scanner sont indispensables. Le traitement est la chirurgie. Le chirurgien ORL doit opérer pour retirer la tumeur bénigne. Une seconde opération est nécessaire pour « reconstruire ». </p>\r\n \r\n <h3 style="text-align: justify;">Zoom sur les chéloïdes</h3>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />\r\n Les chéloïdes sont un type de tumeurs non cancéreuses assez répandues. Pourquoi ? Car celles-ci sont causées par des cicatrices ou des lésions sur le <strong>lobe de l’oreille</strong>. Typiquement elles se développent suite à une mauvaise cicatrisation de perçage du lobe pour un piercing ou une boucle d’oreille. Les chéloïdes peuvent aussi survenir suite à des traumatismes divers, des brûlures ou encore suite à une intervention chirurgicale.</p>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align: justify;">Les chéloïdes sont des tumeurs bénignes qui ressemblent à un amas de peau protubérante. Face à la lésion originale, l’organisme ne parvient à mener une cicatrisation normale et tout se déséquilibre. La réparation est alors exagérée et gonfle ! Les chéloïdes ne peuvent pas muter en cancer malin, elles ne sont pas graves mais peuvent être douloureuses (démangeaisons, brûlures).
