Plusieurs organismes, associations et programmes aident aussi ces jeunes confrontés à la surdité dans leur quotidien, mais aussi leurs études.</p>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align:justify;">Découvrons ensemble les diverses solutions dédiées aux <strong>étudiants malentendants</strong>, aux <strong>jeunes adultes sourds</strong> et autres jeunes personnes qui connaissent une baisse plus ou moins importante de leur audition.</p>\r\n \r\n <h2 class="h3 mb-3">Des technologies pour accompagner l’étudiant malentendant</h2>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align:justify;">L’<strong>étudiant malentendant</strong> ou sourd équipé d’audioprothèses peut posséder un équipement de pointe supplémentaire et adapté pour <strong>compléter sa correction auditive</strong> afin de suivre ses cours dans les meilleures conditions.</p>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align:justify;">Nous pouvons citer le <strong>microphone émetteur</strong>. Ce dernier peut se porter par le professeur qui donne son cours ou être placé tout près de lui. Cet outil ayant une très bonne autonomie peut tenir toute une journée sans problème. Assez simple à porter, cet équipement est pratique à mettre en place et permet aux étudiants de comprendre le cours sans l’aide de personne.</p>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align:justify;">Autre équipement bien utile à l’université ou à l’école : le <strong>récepteur</strong>. Celui-ci retransmet le son du microphone. Sa forme varie selon le type d’appareil auditif porté.</p>\r\n \r\n <p style="text-align:justify;">Un équipement spécifique peut aussi être proposé in situ. Certains auditoriums et amphithéâtres à l’université sont équipés afin que le <strong>public sourd</strong> puisse mieux suivre cours et autres conférences. La <strong>BIM</strong> ou <strong>boucle d’induction magnétique</strong> se révèle être une excellente solution pour les étudiants sourds et malentendants. Pour profiter de la BIM, les étudiants doivent posséder la fonction télécoil ou Position T (plus rarement appelé Bobine téléphonique) sur leurs aides auditives.
